Description:

 

       This plant employs a process that using molecular sieve to purify air, and air is drag flow for expansion. The dust and mechanical impurities are removed from the air in the filter, and then the air goes into air compressor to be compressed to a rated pressure. The compressed air goes into pre-cooling unit to reduce temperature and remove condensed moisture. Then the compressed air goes into one molecular sieve adsorber where the moisture and hydrocarbons like CO2 and C2H2 are adsorbed by molecular sieve. After out of adsorber, the air goes into the main heat exchanger where the temperature of air is gradually reduced, then a stream of air is extracted from the middle part to expander for producing cold capacity, and another stream reaching the saturated temperature with the expanded air go into the bottom of nitrogen column to follow rectification. The air goes up in the nitrogen column and to be condensed continuously with the increasing nitrogen content, and the product nitrogen gas will be obtained at the top. The nitrogen gas withdrawn from the top goes into main heat exchanger, and after rewarmed, it is sent to the user. The rest nitrogen at the top goes into condenser evaporator to be condensed to liquid nitrogen which flows back to nitrogen column as refluxed liquid to follow rectification, and then it evaporates gradually with the oxygen content increasing, and the oxygen enriched liquid air is obtained at the bottom. The oxygen enriched liquid air is throttled and goes into condenser evaporator to be evaporated to oxygen enriched air which will be withdrawn from the top to main heat exchanger to be rewarmed, and then it is discharged out of cold box, part of which goes into electric heater, and then goes to another molecular sieve adsorber as the regeneration gas for molecular sieve adsorber. And the rest will be vented.
